Police need help to identify a man found dead outside Daveyton Hostel on April 9.
He is aged between 30 and 35 and police believe, according to wounds on the body, the victim was assaulted and stabbed.
Daveyton SAPS spokesperson Sgt Connie Moalusi said they are investigating a case of murder.
“After receiving information about the body, officers responded to the scene and alerted paramedics, who declared the victim dead on scene,” she said.
“The motive for the murder is unknown.”
