The East Rand Military History Society’s monthly free online presentations by local and international historians will this month take place from 15:00 to 16:20 on the last Sunday of each month. Email Peter Griffiths at chairperson@ermhs.co.za for further details.

All Souls jumble sale will take place from 06:00 to 09:00. R10 an item. 42 O’Reilly Merry Street, Northmead, entrance in Third Street, behind the church.

Bunny Park Food and Craft Market and Caxton Car Boot Sale will take place from 09:00 to 14:30 at the Bunny Park, Pretoria Road, Rynfield. There will be over 80 food and craft stalls, children’s activities, live entertainment, tea garden and City Times car boot sale. Benoni Aurora Rotary Anns and Round Table Golden East 181 will collect tinned food at Farrarmere Pick n Pay in an attempt to break world record for longest line of food
cans, 08:00 to 13:00. They want to create a line of food cans 6.7km long

June 4
