WIN! Competition deadline extended

The book is available on Lulu, Amazon and at all major book stores.

Sadana Parshotom, a life coach from Clear Water Estate, has faced many challenges, searched for her purpose in life and fought her way out of the overwhelming pit of grief.

She has now launched her tell-all self-help book The Tower Moment. Born in SA, Sadana’s family immigrated to England when she was only two. Growing up with an alcoholic father and absent mother, she soon found herself taking care of her two younger siblings, describing those years as bittersweet.

The family returned a decade later and so she started writing poems.

Now, at the age of 55, the first-time author decided to put her struggles with anxiety, depression and grief in writing as a manner of healing but also to touch the lives of others who might be feeling alone. “We have all faced love, loss, grief, devastation, passion and pain,” she said.

“Our relationships mould us into who we are. The tower moment is the moment we realise something needs to change in our life, that ‘Aha’-moment of awakening.”

At the beginning of 2020, she attended a life coaching event in India and for the first time, she felt she belonged.

“The question we all ask ourselves is what is the purpose of my life,” she said. “I found my answers in India. When I found myself, I discovered I can help others to do the same.”

The book was released on December 1 and is available on Lulu, Amazon and at all major book stores. She encouraged anyone looking for themselves to read the book.

“May you have the courage to overcome any obstacles in your life and rise from the ashes,” she said.
