The Almond Tree to open independent school

The school will open in January for grades R, one and two.

The Almond Tree is excited to announce the official registration of its independent school, Children of Promise.

The registration process has been a two-year-long journey for principal Angela Powell, who was delighted to recently receive the school’s EMIS at an official awards ceremony hosted by the Department of Education.

“The children who call The Almond Tree home are sponsored by The Almond Tree and its donors.

“We have tried to do a sponsor-a-kid programme but it hasn’t taken off over the years, but as the children get older, we would love for people to sponsor a child.

“To date, The Almond Tree subsidises our children and public children will need to pay to attend the school.

“We give concessions to public children that urgently need it, at the principal’s discretion,” explained Zina.

Rotherham, The Almond Tree development manager.

The school will open in January for grades R, one and two.

The Almond Tree began its education branch in 2019 with a fully registered pre-school, which has now grown to its full capacity.

Both the pre-school and new school are open to receiving learners from the local community.

Enrolments for 2022 are open for Grade RRR and RR at Nurture Nest Pre-school and grades R, one and two at Children of Promise Independent School.
