Officers of the Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) arrested a suspect and recovered four motor vehicles in two days, recently.
“Officers followed up on information and arrested a suspect in Endulweni Section, Thembisa, for possession of drugs,” said BFS spokesperson WO Grant Giblin.
“They found four packets of crystal methamphetamine hidden in one of his socks.”
The four abandoned vehicles recovered are:
• White Toyota Quantum and Nissan NP300, in Entshonalanga Section, Thembisa, reported stolen on a Vosman case and hijacked on a Thembisa South case, respectively
• White UD truck, in Rodvaella Street, Rabie Ridge, reported hijacked on a Midrand case.
• White Toyota Hilux, in Meadowdale Mall, Edenvale, reported hijacked on a Delmas case.
The suspect will be appearing in the Thembisa Magistrate’s Court on charges of possession of drugs.
