Successes continued for Benoni Flying Squad officers on October 22.

Successes continued for Benoni Flying Squad (BFS) officers on October 22, with another two suspects arrested in Benoni.

“Officers followed up on information from crime intelligence that led to the arrest of two suspects in separate incidents at their residences in Kingsway,” said BFS WO Grant Giblin.

“Over a kilogram of dagga was confiscated in these incidents.”

In a separate incident, officers on patrol on the corners of R562 and M57, Olifantsfontein, noticed a white Nissan 1400 driving recklessly.

Upon stopping the vehicle, the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was immediately arrested.

The suspects will be appearing in the respective magistrate’s courts to face charges of possession and dealing in drugs and driving under the influence of alcohol.
