NPO has a plan to help the poor and emotionally scarred

The NPO oversees 14 families in Benoni and hopes to help them through four months of growing.

The Way Out Foundation is always looking for people to help those who have fallen into poverty and are emotionally scarred.

The Benoni NPO has three directors, Toni Ford, André Kruger and Conrad Zimmerman, and one life coach, Sonette Bosch.

“Way Out envisions a world in which the most vulnerable and marginalised individuals are given the opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty and create a self-sustaining environment where each individual can live a healthy and fruitful life, reclaiming their place as a contributor to their society,” the directors said.

“We strive towards this goal through the practical mediums of coaching, enhancing healthy living education, ending hunger and assisting to overcome hardships. We coach and encourage our members to believe that a positive outlook is the best outlook even when facing extreme hardships.”

The NPO oversees 14 families in Benoni and hopes to help them through the four months of growing.

These four months include:
• Food, clothing and shelter
• Introduce the member to the life and employment coaches
• Maintenance care of regular food donations, psycho-social assistance and possible employment interviews
• The member is expected by month to secure an income source or find employment and take care of their family.
