Benonians are encouraged to put the spring back into their step by joining the Sole Mates Walking Club and the Buyani House spring walk fund-raiser.
Buyani House is an outreach of the Anglican Church in Benoni and an extension of the work that has been taking place over many years, which includes giving food and clothing to people in need.
This includes the unemployed, orphans, vulnerable children and babies in care as well as families.
The 5km or 10km walk will start at the John Barrable sports field, where maps will be provided for the specific trails.
Registration will be at 05:30 and the walk will start at 06:00.
A R50 donation would be accepted for adults participating and R25 for children, non-perishable foods are also welcomed.
All Covid-19 protocols will be observed.
