Benoni AH businessowner will be missed

Monique opened the Country Kitchen in August 2020 because she was passionate about family and good food.

If you are a fan of the outdoors and having a unique experience then that is what the late Monique McMaster aimed to give Benonians at her Country Kitchen on Benoni Road.

Monique opened the Country Kitchen in August 2020 because she was passionate about family and good food.

The Country Kitchen is a deli and berry-picking that aims to provide an unforgettable experience. The 50-year-old passed away on August 22, but her legacy continues through her family who is keeping her business alive.

“The kitchen has been taken over by myself and her husband, Heath,” said her daughter, Tarryn-Lee McMaster.
Monique was described by her family as being the most incredible person with the biggest and caring heart.

“She always gave so much and expected nothing in return,” the family explained.

“There are never enough words to say just how much Monique was loved and respected by everyone, even if you only met her once.

“The name is now Mona’s Country Kitchen. The reason for this is to honour our beautiful daughter, wife, mother, granny and friend.

“The goals and missions will always be to bring young and old family members together to bond and enjoy the outdoors while having to pick berries,” the family added.

Monique’s funeral was held in Boksburg.

“She will be missed most for her energy and happiness when she walked into a room,” the family concluded.
