The Gekombineerde Skool Noorderlig learners who won their categories for reading in the Con Spirito Cultural competition in August were recently congratulated by Sgt Lerato Mopeli, the Crystal Park SAPS spokesperson.
She commended the learners for their efforts and participation in the competition.
The officer presented the learners with a PNA book voucher, to purchase any book of their choice from the bookshop.
Mopeli and her team at the station also congratulated the teachers Michael Miller and Susan van der Merwe for their hard work and dedication towards the learners.
She emphasised to the learners that education is the key to success.
