The 200% Foundation recently launched the Sheroes Menstrual Cup Drive.

Manogari Moonsammy, the founder of the foundation, explained that this project aims to empower young girls, help eradicate period poverty and promote environmental conservation through the distribution of eco-friendly menstrual cups.

The first roadshow was held at the Belvedere School where 150 girls benefited from the informative presentation.

The project takes place in the form of a roadshow, made up of several key role players, performing various activities, which aim to uplift and support young female learners.

The roadshow consists of the following:

• Bad Boyz Security (self-defence workshop)

• SAPS (safety awareness talk)

• Department of Health (menstruation talk and usage of a menstrual cup)

• 200% Foundation (motivational talk)

• Guiding Light (laugh therapy)

The roadshow is available to all schools in the East Rand area on request.

For bookings, you may contact the 200% Foundation via email at info@200percentfoundation.org or WhatsApp 074 099 0999.
