NPO spoils Colin House children

She had also donated care hampers with biscuits and hand wash to the St Francis Care Centre in Boksburg, as well as books to the Siyabonga Children's Home in Germiston.

Kindness Keystone, an NPO, recently provided lunch to the staff and children at Colin House in Northmead.

Founder of the organisation Yosheen Moodley said they provided hot dogs, chips and cooldrinks for the 18 children as well as staff.

“We had a wonderful afternoon with the children, spent quality time with them sharing their homework stories, my husband helping them with mathematics equations, they showed us magic tricks and even sang us a beautiful song.”

She added they are the most beautiful children with such exceptional manners, positive attitudes and amazing gratitude, and they will be returning next month.

Moodley, who is from KwaZulu-Natal and moved to Johannesburg two years ago, said she had been actively involved in assisting animal shelters, children’s homes and providing cooked meals and toys.

“I wanted to continue the work and I went on to have the organisation registered so it could run more formally and I could reach and assist more people.

“I believe in the potency of kindness, it can truly be a ray of hope to someone experiencing difficulty, hence the name of my organisation.”

She had also donated care hampers with biscuits and hand wash to the St Francis Care Centre in Boksburg, as well as books to the Siyabonga Children’s Home in Germiston.
