The Ekurhuleni metro is aware of the waste removal backlog in Benoni and is working around the clock to bring the situation to normality.
Areas scheduled for yesterday (July 29) and still outstanding will be attended to today (July 30).
Affected areas include Brentwood Park, Alphen Park, Chief Luthuli and Wattville.
All affected customers are urged to take out their 240l wheelie bins for easy collection.
The City apologises for the inconvenience caused.
