Four vaccinations sites operate on Sunday in Ekurhuleni

Vaccines will be administered at Phola Park Community Healthcare Centre, Daveyton Main Community Healthcare Centre, and Kobie Muller Hall in Germiston between 09:00 and 14:00.

In an effort to get more people vaccinated, the Daveyton Main Community Healthcare Centre was identified as one of the four vaccination sites in the Ekurhuleni metro that will be operating on a Sunday.

MMC for Health and Social Services Nomadlozi Nkosi highlighted that having the vaccination sites operating on Sundays will assist in fast-tracking the vaccination rollout.

“The Gauteng health department’s decision to administer vaccines on Sundays in Ekurhuleni is a clear indication of the government’s commitment to ensure the success of the vaccine rollout.

“As a City, we strongly encourage all those who are eligible to visit the vaccination sites and make use of the opportunity to get their inoculations to protect themselves and their loved ones,” said Nkosi.

Vaccines will be administered at Phola Park Community Healthcare Centre, Daveyton Main Community Healthcare Centre and Kobie Muller Hall in Germiston between 09:00 and 14:00.
