Daveyton NPO Bacha Ba Dichaba Explorers recently held a Spelling Bee for schools in Etwatwa, Daveyton and surrounding areas at the Tshepo Themba Multi-Purpose Resource Centre, in Etwatwa.
This led to the NPO having their winners invited to Kingsley Spelling Bee South Africa for the Spelling Bee finals.
The competition is hosted by Kingsley Spelling Bee South Africa annually, in which contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty.
The following areas have been invited to the finals:
• Lesotho Spelling Bee
• Soweto Spelling Bee
• Limpopo Spelling Bee
• Bacha Da Dichaba Explorers
This local NPO is very excited to have been invited to the finals and would love to attend but funds are the only thing holding them back.
They are requesting donations from the community to help them in making this exciting journey and to hopefully bring home the winning trophy.
Kingsley Spelling Bee South Africa are based in Limpopo and their event will take place on October 2.
