Sibikwa could be a Broadway stepping stone

Sibikwa is hosting a 12-week acting course, which will be facilitated by Bongiwe Ngidi.

Sibikwa is hosting a 12-week acting course, which will be facilitated by Bongiwe Ngidi.

Ngidi is a University of Pretoria and Wits University graduate, seen in several theatre plays and soapies, including Saints and Sinners (S3).

The adult acting classes will be held as follows:

Saturdays: 14:00 – 17:00, July 17 to October 2. Course fee is R1 800.

The classes will be adhering to all Covid-19 regulations.

Sibikwa Arts Centre is a leading South African multi-disciplinary arts centre, co-founded by theatre stalwarts Smal Ndaba and Phyllis Klotz.

The Liverpool Road centre has a 33-year legacy of productively contributing to the socio-economic fabric of South Africa. It has also established a footprint across the continent, with global connections in the United States of America, Europe and beyond.

Sibikwa offers arts education, theatre as well as acting classes.

It has recently started offering adult acting classes which will equip adults to be able to get ahead in the entertainment industry.
