A total of 10 primary schools took part in the competition.

Bacha Ba Dichaba Explorers, an NPO based in Daveyton and a beneficiary of the 100% Foundation, recently held a Spelling Bee competition for schools from surrounding or in the areas of Etwatwa and Daveyton.

The event was held at the Tshepo Themba Multi-Purpose Resource Centre in Etwatwa.

Ten primary schools took part in the competition. They are Thopodi, Melodi, Dan Pharasi, Rolihlahla, Sizakhele, Silindokuhle, Ntsikana, Katlego, Madingoane and Baikagetsi.

Bacha Ba Dichaba also invited guest spellers from the community and those who fell under the Red Cross Organisation.

The 100% Foundation provided its support by sponsoring refreshments, stationery and light meal for participants and are looking for sponsorship partners for the next one.

Kingsley Spelling Bee South Africa based in Limpopo have invited Bacha Ba Dichaba and the top spellers to their event on October 2, but they need sponsorships towards accommodation for 50 people, transportation and more.
