Vagrant and ‘his’ pigeons beautifully captured

TTalana van Tonder captured the photo of Thato Hutang on April 19 because she wanted to capture the special moment between him and the pigeons.

Thato Hutang, previously reported on by the Benoni City Times for feeding the birds who sit by him on the corner of Great North Road and Fifth Avenue, is still feeding the birds four years later. This photo was captured by Talana van Tonder who has a studio called Lifestyle Photographer Talana van Tonder in Farrarmere. In the 2017 article by the City Times, entitled ‘Vagrant shares the little he has with birds’, Hutang said he does not always know where his next meal will come from, but he will always ensure the birds do not have the same concern.
