The Post Office at Rynfield Terrace, in Pretoria Road, recently closed, leaving customers, especially those with postboxes there, in a panic.

Robert Shoniwa, SA Post Office area manager operations Springs, said this branch has only closed temporarily.
“The branch rents space in the SPAR at the shopping centre,” he explained.
“It has been temporarily closed but will open again soon.
“The postboxes are not accessible at the moment but will remain on site.
“Customers can arrange for the collection of mail by contacting KG Kgaogelo on 011 845 2646 or 083 562 1442 for assistance.”

The spokesperson will keep the City Times informed on the date on which it will reopen.
The management of the retailer in which the post office branch operated declined to comment.
