Caravan park children get a treat but need more help

Bringing smiles to the faces of children at Fairwinds Caravan Park, in Brentwood Park, was the aim of the day for Karen Goss and Alta Geyser when they hosted an Easter egg hunt at the park on April 5.

Karen, who is also a resident at the caravan park, has always tried her best to assist those who cannot afford much and found it fitting to collect donations with the assistance of Alta.

“There are a lot of less fortunate children living in the park, who need warm clothes and food donations.

“The joy in the children’s eyes at the Easter egg hunt was out of this world,” she said.

While this event was a success, the organisers are appealing for ongoing help for the children in the form of donations of clothing and food.
