“A white Mercedes-Benz used in the commission of the crime was also confiscated for further investigation.”

The seized horn is valued at around R80 000.

The matter was handed over to the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation in Germiston for further investigation.

The duo was expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on March 3.
