The Ekurhuleni metro will implement a planned electricity supply interruption on February 7, from 7am to 6pm.
Actonville and surrounding industrial areas will be affected by the power outage.
The power supply interruption is due to essential expansion work at the Benoni Industrial 44000/11000 volt substation situated in Actonville.
The following areas will be affected:
• Benoni industrial area (Neustadt Van Dyk road, Lincoln and Main Reef Road,)
• Benoni South industrial area (Liverpool Road, and Emandleni).
All traffic light on mentioned areas will also be affected.
Residents are warned to treat all electrical installations as live at all times.
