The Benoni Police Station will be temporarily closed today (January 13) and tomorrow for decontamination due to some staff testing positive for Covid-19.
The Community Service Center will be operating from Lifeline East Rand on the corner of Russel Street and Mowbray Avenue, Western Extension.
The community can call 10111 for all complaints and emergencies that need to be attended to by the Benoni police.
The building will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be operational again.
SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this.
