On December 9, a man and woman were arrested in Mowbray Avenue after the EMPD officers found them in possession of narcotics.
“[The couple were found with] a plastic pack containing 20 rock substances valued at R2 000,” said EMPD spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng.
The duo, facing charges of possession and possible dealing in illicit substance, are expected to appear in the Benoni Magistrate’s Court soon.
