Daveyton social club grateful for donation of sanitary pads

The sanitary pads and toiletries were donated by individuals following an article published on the City Times in September.

Community development club Ubuntu Social Club donated sanitary pads and toiletries to 150 girls from Sazakhela Primary School in Barcelona, Etwatwa, on November 3.

The sanitary pads and toiletries were donated by individuals following an article published on the City Times in September.

The chairperson of the club, Itireleng Sepula, said as a collective they would like to thank everyone who donated towards their cause.

“Their efforts are highly appreciated and we have decided to donate to the school each year,” said Sepula.

The club is now appealing to the public for school shoes to be donated to learners from Daveyton and Etwatwa.

Anyone who would like to make a contribution may phone Sepula on 062 558 5056 or Gift Mlambo on 079 539 1217 or visit their Facebook page (Ubuntu Social Club and Community Development).
