Protesters meet in Benoni for the Move One Million movement

Robby Pietropaolo, who organised the peaceful drive from Benoni, said he was inspired by a live video done by Petzer and felt it was necessary to rally in and support the cause.

Over 700 protestors around Ekurhuleni used the corner of Brentwood Park Road as a meeting point on September 5 before heading to the Union Buildings in Pretoria.

This was to take part in the Move One Million movement where people united in a peaceful protest to raise awareness on fraud, corruption, gender-based violence and racism in South Africa.

The movement was created by Jarette Petzer who created the #ImStaying group where South Africans share positive stories about why they will be staying in the county.
