A man was arrested in connection with a murder and attempted murder case on June 29 at Emandleni informal settlement in Actonville.
Actonville SAPS spokesperson Capt Pheello Mothapo said it is believed that the man is linked to the shootout that occurred on June 28 at the informal settlement around 9pm.

“It is alleged that three occupants (two men and a woman) were inside a car that was parked on the street when they were approached by an unknown man who starting shooting at them,” said Mothapo.
“One of the men and the woman died in the shootout.”
A case of double murder and attempted murder was opened at the Actonville Police Station.
The arrested suspect is expected to appear at the Benoni Magistrate’s Court soon.
