Power in Benoni should be restored by 3pm

The Ekurhuleni Metro is aware of the power outage that left most of Benoni in darkness from yesterday evening (June 12).

Ward 73 Clr, Sinethemba Matiwane said: “The Metro is aware of the power failure affecting Benoni CBD, Rynsoord, Mackenzie Park, New Modder, parts of Western Extension, Northmead and the surrounding areas due to 132kV oil filled cable failure.
