Benoni High Matrics return to school

"We just want to ensure that learners live their dream, which is to finish their school education."

Benoni High School principal Dr Eugene Rooyakkers is pleased with the number of matric learners who returned to school on June 8.

The school welcomed 268 out of the 286 learners registered at the school.

Rooyakkers stressed the school was ready for the learners to return and all precautionary measures were taken to ensure learner safety.

Learners attended an orientation day on June 5 where the way forward was explained to the learners.

On the first morning learners were screened and provided with personal protective equipment.
