Fitness fanatic pleased to jog around her neighbourhood

Jogging, walking and cycling will be allowed but only in your neighbourhood - within a 5km radius of your home, and only from 6am till 9am.

Daveyton resident Zinhle Mahlalela is pleased that residents will now be allowed to leave their homes to exercise, even though under very strict conditions.

The relaxation of lockdown regulations in terms of exercising was made by Cooperative Governance Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma on March 29.

Jogging, walking and cycling will be allowed but only in your neighbourhood – within a 5km radius of your home, and only from 6am till 9am.

However, no organised sports and no group activities would be allowed.

Zinhle was excited to jog with a mask around her neighbourhood.

She said she has seen a number of people jogging around in the morning and she was happy to see them wearing their masks.

“It feels good to be able to exercise again so I can continue to maintain my figure,” she said.
