Two suspects were arrested on February 11 following a drug distribution tip-off in Benoni.
“EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit officers stormed into a building and confiscated narcotics, following arrests,” said EMPD spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng.

“The duo, 25 and 36 years, were apprehended after officers uncovered one ziplock bag of dagga, two ziplock bags of crystal meth, 11 ziplock bags of khat, valued at R2 850, and R190 cash.
“The pair, facing charges of possession and dealing in illicit substances, were taken to Benoni Police Station.”
