Fun at the Bunny Park market and BCT car boot sale
Car boot sellers may only sell second-hand goods, including things like bric-a-brac, tools, kitchenware, baby items, toys, clothing, books, gardening goods, camping gear and paintings, etc.
The City Times team was out in full support of the newspaper's first car boot sale. Back (from, left): Tebogo Sibeko (sales consultant), Terry-Ann Diergaardt (journalist), Rynette Joubert (sales consultant) and Rivelle Govindsamy (journalist). Middle: Hashila Dahya (sales consultant), Linda Pretorius (general manager East and South division), Carlene du Toit (trainee business manager) and Penelope Masilela (journalist). Front: Jemma Buys (sports journalist) and Sheina Razack (news editor).
The first car boot sale hosted by the City Times as part of the Bunny Park Food and Craft Market was a great success on January 25.
Some vendors opted not to exhibit their wares or attend due to the cold, rainy weather Saturday kicked off with, but the day turned out lovely and hot and vendors who were there all day were happy with their sales and the turnout at the market.
