Opening of the Bunny Park put on hold owing to rain

The opening of the Bunny Park has been cancelled due to the rainy weather and a new date will be communicated.

The park was expected to open on December 11, but Ekurhuleni metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe said: “Following an assessment visit to the park on the impact of persistent rains, a decision has been taken to put on hold the offices opening.

“A new date, which is likely to be early next year, will be communicated,” he said.

The Christmas Craft Market will however still take place on December 14.
