Benoni’s Cake Decorators’ Network hosted its annual charity Christmas cake handover on November 27, benefiting 21 charities this year.
The event took place in the Benoni Baptist Church hall, in Wordsworth Road, Farrarmere.
Chairperson Tania Riley said the network has grown from 60 members last year to 80 this year.

“I would like to thank all the members for volunteering their time, skills and finances to bake these cakes for charity,” she said.
“This is a wonderful example of community spirit, something we need a lot more of.”
