Videos of a headless delivery man have driven many people into Halloween excitement.

For some, Halloween is a spooky affair, for others it’s an opportunity to have a bit of fun and play pranks on one another. Around this time of the year, families and friends get into the Halloween spirit by shopping for their favourite sweets and candies to hand out, searching for pumpkin carving tips, arranging spooky party themes, searching for costume ideas, and so much more.

This year, the mystery of Halloween has engulfed South Africa with videos of a headless delivery man on a scooter sparking online buzz for this Halloween season. Immaculately dressed in black pants, a black waistcoat, and a long sleeved crisp white shirt with a bow-tie, the headless delivery man has become an online sensation.

Those relaxing at home while expecting their pizza delivery have gotten more than they bargained for as the headless delivery man has been randomly paying night-time visits to customers and startling many on his delivery route.

In one video, the headless driver can be seen strutting the corridors of a business premises that looks like a hotel, as women watching him on the CCTV cameras can be heard screaming in excitement, surprise, and shock. Cops have a reputation for being the fearless law enforcement officers, but the sight of the headless delivery man appears to have sent one officer scampering for dear life as he attempted to do his routine roadside stop and search.

In a separate video, a petrol attendant who displayed nerves of steel can be seen refilling the scooter calmly, while another petrol attendant ran away as soon as he saw the driver with no head.

The videos have since garnered a lot of traction on Twitter with the #Headlessmanchallenge on Twitter trending.
