Cosmos Park dam 10 000 litres fuller

She identified Barbels as one of the fish found in the dam and highlighted how the fish can be seen struggling to swim due to the low water in the dam.

Grader and Compaction Pty Ltd delivered one of five deliveries of 10 000 litres of water to Cosmos Park today (October 24) following rising concerns from residents in the area about the welfare of the gaggle of geese and the school of fish that could barely swim in the water.

According to Northmead resident Karlene Pitzer, this is not the first time the dam has dried up and it occurs when there is no rain.

She said she noticed the decreasing water levels about two weeks ago and residents have come out every night with food and water to feed the geese.

Vanessa Arundel added that her biggest concern was the fish.

If they do not get help soon, she would have been forced to remove them from the dam.
