An investigation is pending following a report of shots being fired in the Benoni CBD yesterday (August 14), according to Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele.

“According to reports, shots were fired into the air by occupants of a vehicle travelling in the CBD,” said Sekele.
Nobody was injured and the police are appealing for information.
