“We are delighted and truly grateful to be partnering with Caitlyn Wright (Miss Benoni 2018) and Vaughn Durant (Vaughn’s Creation) for our upcoming charity golf day,” said the home’s development manager, Zina Rotherham.

“We place vulnerable children into a family environment where they receive unconditional love, spiritual discipleship nurture and care while ensuring that all their physical, emotional and mental needs are met.

“We currently have about 70 children in our care.

“Your support of this initiative will be truly appreciated.”

The Almond Tree has the following facilities:

•Two baby homes (based in Benoni and Delmas) that provide a nurturing environment where vulnerable babies can be rehabilitated and nurtured back to health.

•A children’s village which encompasses an Early Childhood Development centre (pre-school) and a permanent residential home for 30 children between the ages of four and 12.
