Lions in need of donations

Benoni Lions Club is in desperate need of donations for their jumble sales, which take place on the last Saturday of each month.

The club will accept any donation of clothing, shoes and kitchenware, etc. or even furniture that is in relatively good condition.

Lions president-elect Tina Strachan said they will also gratefully accept donations of hearing aids for those who do not have the means to buy these.

“We are also looking for donations of books for our book sales, which we hold twice a month on the second Friday and Saturday and again on the last Sunday of the month,” she said.
