Pug Rescue SA to host sterilisation campaign

Prices are subsidised and therefore proof of income will be required.

Pug Rescue South Africa will host their Mandela Day sterilisation campaign on July 19 and 20.

This year they plan to sterilise at least 100 pets.

The Steri Campaign aims to give people who would not otherwise be able to sterilise their dog or cat an opportunity to do so.

The Thanda Inja Community Outreach Project, which is a Pug Rescue SA initiative, will benefit individuals who earn less than R15 000 a month, such as:

• unemployed people (UIF documents need to be produced)

• state pensioners (proof required)

Prices are subsidised and therefore proof of income will be required.

Pet owners need to transport their own pet to and from the facility and be present for pre- and post-operation.

The campaign will be held at Pug Rescue, 80/1 Nielsen Road, Benoni North, Agricultural Holdings.

Book by July 12. The sterilisations will be done on a first come, first served basis.
