Illegal electricity connections in Actonville still a problem

Cebekhulu added other operations were undertaken regarding the matter

Following a complaint to the City Times regarding illegal electricity connections in Actonville, Ekurhuleni metro’s divisional head for communication and media relations Nhlanhla Cebekhulu said the metro undertook operations in June regarding the matter.

“Two operations were done in Soma Street, Actonville, and six suspects were arrested,” said Cebekhulu.

“But, the suspects were released after the prosecutor decided not to prosecute.”
