Five men were arrested for being in possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle on June 27 on Putfontein Road near the N12 informal settlement.
Crystal Park SAPS spokesperson Const Alex Mokete said police spotted a suspicious-looking vehicle near the informal settlement.

“They then conducted a vehicle inquiry and results showed it was stolen in White River, Mpumalanga,” said Mokete.
Police then arrested the men.
A case of being in possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle was opened at the Crystal Park Police Station.
All five suspects will appear in the Benoni Magistrate’s Court on July 1.
