Bunny Park opening delayed to spring

The Bunny Park was closed in March 2017 for a three-phase revamp and the City Times visited the park with Gadebe in February, where he said R30-million will be spent to fully complete the revamp.

The long-awaited opening of the revamped Bunny Park in July has been delayed to spring.

According to Ekurhuleni spokesperson Themba Gadebe, there were many delays as a result of the rain in March and April.

He explained the revamp is expected to be completed by the end of June and, thereafter, they need to give the grass “time to grow and settle”.
