A case of murder was opened at the Crystal Park Police Station after a man was fatally stabbed in Hazel Road, Benoni AH around 10.30pm last night (June 1).
“The 62-year-old man was stabbed by suspects wearing blue overalls and beanies,” said Crystal Park SAPS spokesperson, Const Alex Mokete.

According to Mokete, it is alleged that three suspects were involved in the murder.
“The motive for the murder is unknown at this stage, but cellphones were stolen,” he explained.
Mokete asked the public to contact the Crystal Park Police Station on 011 969 4880 or 10111 should they have any information pertaining to the crime.
