A case of murder was opened at the Benoni Police Station after a man believed to be in his late 30s was found dead on Main Reef Road.
The body was discovered on May 13 at around 7am.

Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele said the man was found with wounds on his upper body.
“The cause of his death is still unknown, police are investigating,” said Sekele.
The man was declared dead on scene by paramedics.
