Melissa is new social worker at Rynpark Association for the Aged

The Pretoria local obtained a social worker degree at North-West University (Potchefstroom) in 2017 and has been registered as a professional social worker for the last two years.

Melissa Greyling was recently appointed as the new community social worker at Rynpark Association for the Aged.

Melissa’s role is to improve the wellbeing of the elderly in the community.

“My passion is people, especially individuals who are very vulnerable and unable to voice their own needs,” said Melissa.

“I act as an advocate for elderly individuals, as their needs are overlooked in the community most of the time.

My priority is addressing the social and emotional needs of elderly community members.” Melissa added she is committed to continuing working towards improving her social work skills and knowledge.
