Democratic Alliance (DA) Premier Candidate Solly Msimanga announced on Twitter he will use Gauteng residents’ e-toll statements to create a bonfire outside the Sanral offices in Rooihuiskraal, Centurion, tomorrow (April 4).
Enough is enough! Tomorrow we will be burning eToll statements to show the government that we will not tollorate honest citizens being turned into criminals.

In a press release issued earlier today, the DA stated they have received hundreds of e-toll statements from “overburdened Gauteng residents” who cannot afford to pay these.
“The DA premier candidate will use these e-toll statements to create a bonfire and demonstrate to Sanral and the failing ANC government that this system is not working and that it must be scrapped,” said Charity Moyo, DA Gauteng Premier Campaign media officer.
“The immediate suspension of pursuing e-toll debt by Sanral is not enough and we demand the scrapping of the system in its entirety.”
