Have your teenagers volunteer at the Benoni SPCA

The SPCA also appeals to any building, roofing, plumbing, fencing, painting, gardening companies to help with maintenance and or improvements in order to help make the pound better and to make life more comfortable and safe for the animals.

If you have teenagers (16 years or older) and they love animals, then the Benoni SPCA welcomes the youngsters to join their volunteer programme every Saturday.

The SPCA runs a programme called Pawing Love In Action (PLIA) between 8.30am and noon at their premises (3 Klein Street, Lakefield), where youngsters can help give love to the animals, help with kennels and various tasks in the pound.
