Nakho Keh Ent, together with the Gauteng Province and Ekurhuleni, hosted an Awareness Through Art market day at OR Tambo Cultural Precinct in Wattville on March 21.
Siyabonga Radebe, the organiser of the market day, said: “We have realised the era in which we live in domestic violence, substance abuse and depression is prevalent in our communities today.
“We want to raise awareness against the social ills through art.”

There were live performances which included OR Tambo rising stars, Monica’s traditional dancers and various others.
Nhlanhla Mhlongo from Daveyton sold his cocktails that he made with his own secret recipe, while Lunga Harmane showed his handmade crafts and draw on clay pots on the spot.
The event was filled with young people coming to enjoy the show and young exhibitors showing their work.
