Daveyton school gets new play area

The Grade R learners sang and danced for their attendees to show their appreciation.

Daveyton Intermediate School Grade R learners were excited for the unveiling of their newly-renovated play area, which was sponsored by Liberty Life.

The handover, which took place on March 5, was attended by Liberty Life representatives, district officials and members of the school governing bodies (SGB).

Daveyton Intermediate School deputy principal Nomabutho Hlajoe said the school is honoured that out of the schools, Liberty Life chose theirs.

“We appreciate everything you’ve done to renovate our play area and we hope that our learners are going to enjoy using it as most of their learning involves playing,” said Hlajoe.

The Grade R learners sang and danced for their attendees to show their appreciation.
